David Miron joined the Clergy & Congregational Care team in September 2013. As Coordinator and Consultant, David is the main contact person for the team. He provides administrative support, helps to manage and develop new services for religious leaders and congregations, nurture relationships, and provides consultation, coaching and training on local and judicatory levels. David has an ecumenical background and has participated in the life of Jewish, Mennonite, and Episcopal communities. He served as a pastor at Blossom Hill Mennonite church for five years, as a staff person for Jewish-Christian relations in the Mennonite church and served as a consultant for the Dept. of Congregational Development for the Episcopal Diocese of Central PA. He has an MS in Human Resource/Organizational Development from American University, a BA in Religion with a Certificate in Jewish Studies, Summa Cum Laude, Temple, and a Certificate in Biblical Studies, Eastern Mennonite Seminary in Harrisonburg, Va. In addition to his work at Samaritan, he is a facilitator for two courses in comparative religion at Elizabethtown College.
David is trained as an interpretive consultant for Holy Cow! Consulting’s Organizational Intelligence tools and works with both congregations and judicatories. He developed and facilitates “Intersections” — training programs for developing boundary awareness and he co-facilitates a clergy group.
