Billy Michael Honor is a public scholar and civic organizer whose progressive and compelling insights have made him a sought after speaker and social commentator. He currently serves the Director of Faith Organizing for the New Georgia Project, a celebrated civic engagement and civil rights organization. He also travels extensively providing thought leadership on issues at the intersection of faith, community organizing and politics.  In addition to organizing, Billy has also served as the pastor of two metro Atlanta congregations, been an adjunct professor of Christian ministry and a staff blogger for several online publications. He is a graduate of Emory University, the Interdenominational Theological Center and Beulah Heights Christian University.
